I am new to my boat (and boating in general, first personal boat) and am not sure my gauge works, and what each one is for. I searched in internet and can not find anything about this one. It is a micronar dt-1. It looks like I just hook it up to the trolling motor battery (under dash). It looks pretty tattered though, so I am thinking about replacing it.

So my questions are:
1. what are the different buttons on the gauge for?
2. what is the gauge above it? It has no lettering or numbers
3. I have a three way toggle switch on the left of the steering wheel. What could this be? The two way is for the bilge pump.

Sorry, but I have a gazillon questions, including on the livewell, but will start with this first.

thanks in advance :)

It looks like the top gauge is for the "motor trim" shows u the angle of the trim...should always be down in the at first and once you reach your plane it shuld be slightly less than half to maximize your speed and efficiency of the boat..

Digital gauge reminds me of a depth finder...+ more i am not sure what eles..does it turn on at all once the key is turned to a ON position..?

Toggle switches should be for a
"fan to turn on/off suck the fumes out of your engine dept."
"ancor/night lights to turn on"
"bielge pump to turn on"

Thanks! I am waiting to get the depth finder from the previous owner as he forgot to send it with the boat. I don't remember seeing the tilt gauge work, but now that I know what it is, I can watch.

It is an outboard, so not sure about the three way toggle yet, I have another two way switch that I am guessing is for the navigation lights.

thanks :)

Oh, oh..... I wonder if the three-way is something for the live-well?
