Getting Worried!!!

Has any body heard from WaterWitch since his last post on Oct 23. He said the Arrowhead fire was only 17.5 miles from his door and the last I heard that fire was still out of control. Haven't heard any thing any where from them. By the way,,,if you ever have to evacuate save the boat first. You would be suprised at how much stuff out of your house you can pile in your boat when you have to leave in a hurry. They do make a good carry all trailer when needed....ANIMAL

I don't think he's in any danger as they were on the windward side. It would have to burn downhill and upwind from Arrowhead and there was nothing reported between them.

You would be suprised at how much stuff out of your house you can pile in your boat when you have to leave in a hurry. They do make a good carry all trailer when needed....ANIMAL

No kidding.

This is what happens, when you go on vacation, to a cousins vacation home, and want to do a little extra work, since they are usually unable too, and are loaning us the house for free. We come home from the lake, and are greeted with a pile of brush, that was about 5 feet tall. Seeing as we were on vacation, we didn't have the truck, or trailers, so we had to make do.

I'm fine. I got a lot of smoke starting Wednesday when the winds died down and the smoke started drifting. It's clearing up now. My computer wasn't fine for the last few days. My hard drive took a dump on me on Thursday. The good news is I had it repaired and luckily didn't lose any info on the hard drive. The bad news is it cost me $129 to get it repaired. I also bought an external hard drive to back up all my stuff so if it goes down again I don't have to worry about losing anything.

Glad to hear you guys are ok out there and it was just your puter that croaked. And I did send him a PM there uncle mod but got nothing back and thats not normal.Just finished the ren fair here this weekend and its the first time I've been on line all weekend myself...ANIMAL
