Gimbal Bearing

When I was starting to acquire parts to rebuild my MC-1 Transom Assembly, at that time didn't realize the new gimbal bearing had no grease hole. I think its one of those PemaLub types. My original has the hole, but it's rusted up.

Can I go with it the PemaLub, or should I return it and get a replacement?

If the engine alignment is good should I worry about it or not?

The bearing will be fine. If you have checked the the alignment with the alignment tool, and it is OK, no worry.

It will not be a problem. I would take the zerk out and plug it with a set screw.
