Gimbal Ring/Bell Housing Washers

1987 Alpha 1. Hi, I replaced the bell housing into the gimbal ring. The special washers that fit inbetween the gimbal ring and bell housing have a adhesive to make them stick for easier installation. Unfortunately, I stuck them on the bell housing instead of the gimbal ring when I put the thing together. Will this make a difference. Thanks Roman

no i dont think it will matter. the sticky is just on there so they dont fall out while you get them lined up and get the pin back in. my alpha one had one missing and the other was 1/2 the thickness of the new ones.

realy took a lot of slop out of mine when i was done

Unless it shifted from position...I can't see anything to worry about.

Maybe someone has a better perspective...!
