Can anyone help with indentification of a<br />standard gimbal ring vs. a high performance gimbal<br />ring for a 96 Bravo III ? If you look at Mercruisers<br />exploded views, the lower left ear is smaller and has less material than the lower right ear. I think <br />by having this strange depiction, they are saying there are two spereate designs. Is it possible that <br />the gimbal ring with the lesser amount of material<br />is the High Perf. model but made out<br />of a stronger material? Any takers?
