Gimbal Seal issue...

So when I went to remove the drive, I looked inside the hole and noticed that the metal spring around the gimbal seal fell off.
Is it a huge deal, do I need to be worried about it?

I can't put it back on, as the gimbal bearing is in the way, I just had enough space to reach and remove it.
My bearing is a permanent seal type, no greasing is required.

Naw,.... not really,.... that seal just slows some of the purged grease from the gimbel bearin' from comin' into the hull,......
