Im in the process of aligning my new motor, I did install a new gimble bearing and bellows as well. How do I know if my gimble bearing is seated correctly? I was having a really hard time getting my alignment (left and right) to get my alignment bar into the coupler. The coupler was too far starboard, so I tapped on the alignment tool, which in turn shifted the gimble bearing a hair, allowing me to get the alignment tool into the coupler. Is this ok? Is the bearing supposed to move or be in one place always? thanks for the help, yet again :D

Re: Gimble bearing

Ayuh,......

That's Why you need the Alignment Bar,....

The Gimbel Bearing is,.... Well, Gimbeled......
It's kinda like your Eye in it's socket.....
The bar needs to be shook, bumped,+ generally abused slightly to get the bearing's alignment right,....

Then align the motor to it.....
