Glasply I/O Ski Boat--Any advice before purchasing? Once bit, twice shy!

I'm looking for a ski/fun boat for the lake. Not the driveway, the lake. Last Spring, I bought a nice Glasspar G3 "Abe Lincoln's Axe" edition, in great condition with a great motor except that the motor was bad and so was the hull. After rebuilding the thing and repowering it, I've decided we need something bigger. And less labor intensive. I must have four pair of jeans now that can stand up on their own from resin impregnation.

This boat showed up on Ebay.

It's not close enough to check out, but it is close enough to tow and it looks good. What should I be asking about? Did this model have any wooden hull parts (like the accursed Glasspar stringers  ) or parts prone to damage (like the accursed Glasspar transom  )? Is there anything specific I should be asking about this model? What model is it, if I may ask?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Seaman, I am an ex Mercury Marine mech. from Seattle and worked for several Glasply dealers, as well as knew the management at Glasply...as well as owning a custom built boat the same model as you show....I dont know why there is 2 coastguard stickers but the boat model is know as a 181, it is 18.5 ft and the hull is a "splash" or copy of the "Donzi" 18ft boat, a well known european ocean racing boat manufacture, I even saw the origional that the hull was copied from at Glasply...not many people know that boat better than I do, I can forward photos if requested...the boat design and handeling are outstanding, but....as per your question...yes,glassed over wood stringers, and they did tend to rot, it is easy to detect their condition though...as for my opinion of overall quality, I am in search of one myself ( outboard model) to re-create the one I had, simply an awsome boat when cared for properly, if you have any specific questions feel free to write back and I will answer all I can....you didnt list the asking price but if you buy it you will enjoy it....good luck!
