Just bought a 73 32' luhrs. The hull is glass but the upper structure is wood. Was thinking about inlaying whatever is wood in glass. Is it worth it? If so where do i start. I know nothing about glass work and anyhelp would be appreciated.

welcome to iboats. again why? is there rot that needs to be replaced. is this a project boat. if not it would be much cheaper, just to keep it painted or sealed if natural wood.

Agreed. Hey Foots and Taddy, I should have asked a better way. You may have a gem there. 1973 real wood, It could be beautiful. Don't do more work than you have to, You will have plenty to do over the nest few years. Good luck and keep us updated.

I would have to agree with the others.. Also, if you do not know much about glass work then it would be best not to do it yourself, which make the cost of doing this project go WAY up. If the wood is in good condition I would suggest not changing it.
