glassing in high humidity

can you fiberglass in high humidity? i live in gulfport ms and its always very humid here (70-100%) but i need to re-do my deck stringers etc. The best option i have is under a carport

First off, You REALLY should keep your posts ALL IN ONE THREAD. It makes is a LOT easier for everyone to follow along with what you are doing. But this is a generic topic so it is somewhat off topic for your rebuild. Glassing in High Humidity should not be an issue. What WILL be an issue is the temp. The resin will SET rather quickly unless you cut back on the MEKP a little but NOT to much or you will weaken the mix. This has been discussed quite a bit on the forum an a quick search should have yielded quite a few results. Check out all the links below this thread!!!!!;)

Yes, and No. It's a Forum recommendation to keep all your Posts in one thread. It helps everyone follow along with your restoration. But since this was a GENERIC topic that can help others it was OK. But you should probably utilize the Search capabilities of the Forum before you post a question that has been asked multiple times before.

ok i understand what youre saying now. i do use the search function A LOT guess i just forgot to look this one up first. sorry bout that.
