In the spring i bought a 1982 Glassmaster 17' footer, and I am about halfway through restoring it. I still need to paint and other odds and ends but the bulk of the work is done, and right now she's seaworthy
I've had her out a couple times and its a great boat. Ok heres my problem -I've been scouring the internet and have found virtually NOTHING about the boat. Its a closed bow runabout, about 17.5 feet long, pretty wide beam(prob 75-80in), green topsides white hull, original motor which is a Mercury 80 inline4. I have the serial/hull ID number if that would help. I do know that it was bought and used by the Department of VA Inland Games and Fisheries, so maybe it is custom built?
I would also like to find new decals for the side, if anyone knows where to get those. I will get some pictures up later.
But I have never seen a boat that gets on plane so easy. I can remain on plane PULLING a skier, at 1500-2000 rpm or so). Can't wait till i put the 115 on it!
