Hi guys,

I was doing some research on the 1997 Glastron SX175 I reciently bought and the phrase "BiTex construction" came up several times regarding the hull construction. Also SSV comes up. I know what the SSV is but does anyone know what BiTex construction relates to? Does it have to do with foam filled stringers verses wood filled? Any info would be appreciated.

Only thing I could find on it was in fact foam filled stringers. I'm guessing it was the construction used prior to "VEC" (Virtual Engineered Composites) which I believe started around 2001.
