Here is a link to my boat restoration site: Glastron T-162. . It isn't really informational, just quite a few pictures.

Here is what the boat looked like new (21 years ago): New boat link

Here is one old picture:

Here is one new picture:

Next good sunny day, I need to take a bunch new pictures from the same angle as I did when the boat was first photographed.

Sorry if the pictures are too big.

Great looking boat, beautiful kids. Glad you take
the wearing of PFDs seriously for them

Tony

Re: Glastron boat restoration pictures

That was the first of many trips hopefully. July 1st marks the beginning of scallop season. I think after a few hours in the hot sun scalloping and fishing will convince my wife real quick to loosen the grip of the pocketbook and let me buy a bimini top.

All my kids swim (including the 3-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl) with a mask/goggles so maybe they will be able to collect a few scallops themselves.

I'll take some good pictures later of the boat.

Re: Glastron boat restoration pictures

Thanks guys. It was so much work, but I take pride in knowing that I didn't spend a boat-load of money (sorry about the pun) on a new one.

I'm slowly working my way up to newer and nicer.

I hope to buy a bimini top, depth finder, and bow-mounted trolling motor this year. I eventually might get a GPS, but that'll have to wait.

looks pretty good, i am midway through tearing mine apart to replace the interior, but i have been so busy working overtime and going to school, that it may wait until the end of the semester. i wanna take it out on the lake now, but have a month or two worth of work to do. pictures below in link.
