Thought this might interest the US members.....
There is a chap in my marina who has a literally mint and lightly used 79/80 Glastron Carlson Scimitar T top. Man what a beautiful machine. Brown with metal shiny flake in the gel. He apparently has it up for sale and has had no bites.
I'm a total boat geek and have notifications set on most of the usual web sites and can't see it, to be fair. So he can't be advertising it well.
What would you guys pay for such a beautiful machine over there. Literally, the thing is immaculate and even has the original matching metal flake paint trailer.
No expense has clearly been spared.
Jeez, if I didn't already have a boat......

Nice Scimitars over here bring roughly $15K to $20K. Not another production boat made that will turn more heads on the water than a Scimitar.

She is a beauty blind date. Stunning.
This one is brown. Pretty tempted, I must admit.

I've seen people ask over $20k for them but not sure what they sold for. That's not my Scimitar. I own a CVX18, the ultimate hot rod Carlson for me. From the profile, hard to believe there's a SBC V8 nestled back there.

She is lovely. There is or was the other week one for sale over here, but in poor shape. Owner had replaced the lovely original seats for cheap eBay folding ones. Shocking.
There was also an outboard version 16 for sale here recently too. No idea what model that was.
