Summer of 09' I bought this old 16' tri hull boat. My Foot went through floor and touched the hull, transom was bowed out with a stupid 9.9hp??, foam soaked, you know the usual symptoms of an old boat. Being the nice guy I am, I couldn't see an old Glastron go to waste. I redid all of the glass work (stringers,floor, transom buoyancy foam). The cap was put back on and Mercury tower of power was reinstalled. Suited the interior with some nice pedestal seats, L.E.D. lighting kit (miami vice gave me ideas), new electronics, auto/manual bilge etc.
the end result turned out really well. However, I had timing problems with the merc, and the topside of the hull is covered in pressure cracks in the gelcoat. Im trying to figure out what I should do about it. Check out the pics. The hull is dull and chalky and I want it to shine
Any suggestions??
