So, call me crazy, but I can't help but notice the staggering similarities between Glastron and Larson boats. Any info on this? Are they sister companies or something. Similar models and VEC hull design.... interesting.

Not 100% sure, but I think they are the same company in Little Falls, MN. Think I heard it when I was touring the Crestliner factory nearby.

Glastron's address, coincidentally speaking, is 700 Paul Larson Memorial Drive, Little Falls, Minnesota 56345

They are both owned by Genmar. Genmar owns many boat companies. Glastron and Larson are two brands that they have used the VEC closed mold process on.

It is no coicidence that they are similar.

Off the subject, I've been dealing with LARSON's warrant dept., over a seat issue. They have been good to work with.

It really isn't LARSON's fault, it is the vendor that makes the seats. VERY poor work, on something that they could have/should have never had a problem with.

Had a couple of small issues with LARSON, warranty wise, with the boat, did us right, IMO.

Sorry, I got off of the main subject, but had to throw it in.

I seen that RANGER was listed on their site, and I was shocked !!!!!

Try this site:

www.genmar.com/brands.cfm

It was the site sent to me, that listed Genmars products

I thought that RANGER was all by itself, I didn't know that they were incorporated with GENMAR.
