glueing carbon?

i just purchased a couple of Fenwick trolling rods at a great price from a local shop. After getting them home I discovered that the blank would spin inside the handle- upon further investigation, I realized that they were made as a two-piece rod. I really don't want a two-piece trolling rod, but they are nice rods for a nice price that I would like to keep. Question- does anybody know of a bonding agent I can use to permanently and reliably glue the two carbon blanks together with? thanks

epoxy... get the longest set-up kind at a good hardware store ... mix it up exactly as per... an mix it thoughly ... dab some on ... line 'er up.. an what over nite... hard part is to resist the tempation of 'messing' with it before it dries....

wipe off any excess with a paper towel an vinegar... no need to hurry.. you'll have hours...

believe me epoxy loves carbon...!!
