I picked up a "quart" can of Gluvit and I thought I would pass along some info.

It is sold by weight I was surprised when I opened my quart can and it was about 66% full!

I used a postal scale and a 16 ounce plastic cup to mix it in. I weighed out the Gluvit and then added the catalyst. The ratio is 5:1 by weight. Using a clear plastic cup allowed me to watch the mixing. The can states to mix for 4 minutes and it is accurate. The Gluvit and the Catalyst did not really mix until the 4th minute. They were staying seperated in the cup until then. Once mixed it has a pot life of 90 minutes and I feel mine was longer.

You can apply it with a brush or roller and it is fairly thin. It flows and continues to creep for a long time. Drying time is from 12 hours to 72 hours.

Agreed, I used it for the first time yesterday myself. Was sorta amazed with it. I was thinking that it might be good to make the so called peanut butter out of it. I might also add that the coverage they state is accurate as well. Seems like some goooood stuff! :D Now back to my nightmare from a night of long necks......oh why oh why?

It is a creeping penetrating epoxy that will seal joints and cracks. Seals rivited joints in aluminum. It is what is advised to use to stop and prevent leaks. About $35/for 2 lbs
