My current project boat is a 1974 Tollycraft. It has been repowered with new motors that are supposedly the same horsepower. Short of pulling the heads and measuring the bore and stroke, isn't there a way to identify from the serial number on the block itself? If so, does anyone have any idea how to do that?<br /><br />Port block as s/n F0524BN<br />Starboard block has s/n F11090JB<br /><br />I am putting a large amount of effort in to restoring this boat and would be quite disappointed if the motors really don't match... The exhaust manifolds are different, but most of the rest of the motors look the same...<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Rick
