I have a 1999 Larson 206 with a Volvo Penta 5.0GL engine. My power steering is out, and it has plenty of fluid. Can I use a GM power steering pump? If so, which one? If not, where is the best place to find a pump?

Most power steering pumps begin life as auto pumps but with a twist. The cannister/tank the holds the oil had the return line ( low pressure) relocated . auto applications may not fit with the return line where it is so you can:
reuse you old cannister on the new pump body
close off the existing return and braze a new one in your location

A pump is a pump.... But... The marine pumps run lower pressures than their automotive counterparts. So it wont work.
