just replaced my u joints, gimble bearing, lower shift cable (shifts f and r just fine) and all three bellows on 83 mercruiser 260 with pre alpha one drive. everything seems to be working fine, no more noise from gimble bearing (low growl in turns), and u joints where making noise in hard turns but are quiet now and boat runs fine, exept when making a hard turn left or right under load around 2500 rpms. lose power untill turning the boat back to straight. also just changed from 19" not sure of the pitch 3blade stainless prop to 4 blade 14" 20pitch prop but seemed to lose power in turns before changin prop. could this be a problem with the shift cable not being set right or something in the outdrive itself.. appreciate any thougts.. thanks

It Sounds more like Prop Blow-Out,........ Rather than a Mechanical Failure...........
