going to the river

for all those that are not able to get to the water at this time of year.
I am going to the river for a couple of days, no boats just camping.
no power, no cell phones, just the fire pit and frosty beverages.
stay warm everybody....... hahahaha

Got the frozen river running down my driveway right now! Stinkin' ice and freezing rain! 30 degrees, it should be snow and not rain! Slip slidin' away!

You know Kev....this summer during hurricane season we are going to have to accept alot of grief from the guys up north. I'm prepaired...are you?

We may be headed your way sometime in the near future. The lady wants to travel across the "Big O" to Roland Martins Fishcamp then on to Ft. Myers for the night. I've stopped at the City Marina a few times and I think she would enjoy the walk downtown and hang out at one of the sidewalk cafes.

I have not been up to the local lake yet this year. I don't think we have any ice though. Evn here in AZ we get ice at 5400'.
But just in case I am going to take the wife, two hammers and let her hang over the bow.
She can be my ice breaker!
