My 2003 1600 pro sport was in perfect condition one week ago but it was retired early due to the principles of mass and resistance. She never had a chance.

The **** insurance company won't cover most of the claim because it was not in a garage and was not in tow.

I was thinking of a 1700 pro sport and just move everything that I can salvage.

Any other Lund suggestions < 15k.

Re: Gone baby Gone !

How bad is it? I have seen some amazing rebuilds on totaled Lunds- one of which was one that occurred due to a catastophic trailer failure at 60 mph on a gravel road (when the trailer frame broke under the boat). Sometimes you can be amazed on what they can do on a rebuild- if you really like the boat and want to keep it, of course....

What was the mechanism leading to an early retirement? And of course, do you have pics??? :)

It is always sad to see a boat meet an early demise, especially a Lund.

If you end up parting it out, let me know. I might be interested in some parts.
