what cleaning solvent can i use to safely9 safe to the gimbal metal parts) to clean my gimbal housing ,gimbal ring ,bell housing and inner plate ,before re assembling

I would use diesel, but mineral spirits and even soap and water would be ok. Just don't use carb cleaner, Naptha, gas or other

everyone has their favorite concoction, but most everything will work.. the stuff that requires less elbow grease may run the risk of damaging the paint (engine degreaser, etc...)
