Good compression tester’s?

I’m not seeming to have good luck with compression tester ‘s. I just replaced one last year and I’m wondering if it’s going again. I tested a few motors that I had last summer and I just recheck them to find lower numbers across the board, or at least what I recall.

I just bought the equus brand tester that’s sold in most auto parts stores (in Canada anyway)

aside from top of the line Professional grade, can anyone recommend a good quality compression tester that won’t break the bank and last for several years?

I have an old lisle that I use, bought it almost 40 years ago. Been dropped a few times, now reads about 15 psi low when I checked last month. Going to just replace the gauge

I bought my KD gauge probably 30 years ago. It hasn’t been iso tested in quite a while but have not reason to doubt the results
