Wow... those are two very different boats. I don't know that someone wanting a boat would have those two on their radar. Sorta like trying to pick between a Grand Am and a Cadillac.

That Searay is a nice big boat, what do you have to pull it?

I personally would want the Sea Ray, but would rather have one newer with less hours. This is a buyers market, keep looking, expand your search.

actually you will get about the same performance from either boat, due to the weight difference. and size difference.

Suburban with towing package. I have been on the hunt for 3 years now and the boat I had with a check in hand showed metal shavings in the lower unit oil. I am ready to buy today, but want the right boat.... 22-24 foot for our large family. We want to wakeboard off it one day.

Tasha's, what are your thoughts between the two boats? I have been looking at your quotes since last year.

I would take the Larson, it is newer, lower hours and probably easier to handle if this is your first boat.

That is an excellent point, the Larson will be much easier to move about and take care of, you will be able to pull it no problem, and with the V8 it will handle all your water sport needs.

They are both good boats. The Sea Ray probably has more options. Now, one thing to consider is fuel usage, the Sea Ray will probably guzzle gas. As for the hours, high hours could mean big problems looming. The Sea Ray will handle rough water better.
