good manual with good pics....

Hi all I have a selco manual however as i started wrking on my spare motor 65 65hp merc 180something number I noticed the pics stink ,and wording is hard to understand for a illiterit guy like me lol, and they leave a lot of stuff out for this motor ??? ...Looking for some suggestion on some good manuals or downloads thanks in advanced ....

Mercury manuals are pretty good. You can get a .pdf for like 5 bucks with a quick google search. A longer search might yield a free download.

Nothing comes close to the manufacture, model, year, HP specific shop manuals for any engine. Not only do they have great pictures, but really good methods for testing and checking different capabilities too. And the IPB (Illustrated Parts Breakdowns) help with disassembly and reassembly. Buy one of them and it will become your best friend for anything about your engine... There is no comparison between original shop manuals and aftermarket versions that TRY to cover so many models in one manual. JMHO! :watermelon:

Well I had the Merc for years and it missed some things so I bought the Seloc here and together I get a pretty good picture of what's going on. Merc isn't all that inclusive.

Any specific website to get it or just mercury.com??? Seloc is ok but pics of assembly and reassembly are crap ..
