Good news all around, hope it continues-UPDATED WITH PIX

For a change things are going good for me. My oldest daughter is extremely intelligent but does lack some comman sense, natural blonde. She tested for the gifted/talented program. Made it in launguage arts. She'll be starting 6th grade this year and is curently considered to be at 12 grade 4th mouth level. Makes this daddy proud. She starts her show for the goats this tuesday, hope it goes good too. Another big plus involving her- I got her a car. Not just any car ,mind you but something for me and her to fix up together. Its not a 1975 4 dr land beast either. Its a 64 El Camino. Clean car. I have all of the original paperwork. Its got AC, PS, and powerbrakes, 283 4 bbl with powerglide tranny too. Lots and lots of work to do even though the car is super clean but we got 5 years sooo.....<br /><br /><br />

A car that' "hers", but is her dad's pride and joy, and a teen-age girl that lacks "common sense" can be a dangerous combination.<br /><br />Good Luck!

Congratulations to your daughter for the TAG. That is awesome. <br /><br />Sounds like a great car. My Dad always worked off the assumtion that a kid destroys his first car. That is why I had a $150 '64 Nova for my first car. Yep, I pretty much beat the heck out of it until I learned who was responsible for repairs.
