Damn, and that's from the Bush hating NYT. Congrats Bush! You beat the second worst enemy of our country, our own liberal media!

Re: Good news finally from the NY Times

Great stuff, Ricksrster!

Remember 2004? (Dems n' the MSM don't want ya to). EVERY MAJOR DEM was hoping for a deflationary depression, and the MSM was repeating it over and over "it is worse now then even the great depression". Good news is VERY VERY VERY BAD FOR DEMS, and it has been that way for many years. They need to cornvince their dim wit victim supporters or any potential victim to vote DEM so we can create more and survive the many times Democrat created disasters we have to deal with from time to time.

NEW ORLEANS was built by the French, and set up to fail many many years ago. (I only have one brain cell but I do know history). The Democrats have ruled that very corrupt State, (LA) n' town (NO) fer many years. They proudly elected William Jefferson after he was an obvious crook, as most LA pols are and have been for a long time. Once an inevitable storm hit the place, (on a Republican's watch), the MSM very skillfully placed the blame on the Feds, (they know that the average American dim wit victim and expert on homosexuality thinks the President is responsible for all economic production, [BTW the sun revolves around the earth too], and automatically is responsible for any problems the local Democrats have created by putting recycled tax dollars in their freezers instead of a levee or something productive).

Now the Dems have put their political fortunes with our enemies, (as they usually have done for over 50 years). The problem is: dim wit Democrat supporters n' their MSM buds never hold their own responsible for their criminal acts or helpin' our enemies beat us. Some day this may change, likely not untill the baby boomers loose electoral influance they now hold.

Lets just hope, (all of the dim wit Dems n' Libs n' Repubs n' Cornservatives), that we actually prevail in Iraq n' the place stabalizes. If any of us actually stepped back and pondered just how sucessfull we have been thus far against a very ruthless enemy, (ya need to stop the MSM Kool aid, n' know n' ponder a bit of history to reach a clear headed cornclusion), it is actually uplifting to examine the things that have gone right since 9/11.

Democrats thrive on bad news and they work real hard to bring it to us every day on the boob tube n' the rest of the MSM. If things change in Iraq for the better, (as seems likely if the Libs and Dems respect the Cornstatution n' let the Executive branch run this war), the Democrats could be in real trouble. NOT LIKELY. Most Dems I know cornsider the results of greater Democrat and big government power well worth the ocasional set back due to good news that they are unable to derail. The dim wits will live to cause more problems if we manage to salvage the defeat they want soooooooooooooooo BAD!! JR

Losing in Iraq will threaten us more here at home. Nothing would strengthen the terrorists more than a victory in Iraq. They will come after us here like they have gone for nobody before.
Losing is not an option.

Look, the liberals said we couldn't win. Their puppets the liberal media said we couldn't win. Even PW2 said definitively we cannot win.

It's over, we lost.

Time to surrender. Ooops, I mean redeploy.

You know we will win: Pointer, it is just how much the Dems and Libs will put us through to get down to the bottom line and get this deal done, and how ugly we have to get to do the dirty deal. If they force our defeat in Iraq we will likely get real nasty in the next round, could eliminate a large portion of the Middle East, may even create some serious glass.

Ya now have an inexperienced idiot (the Senator from IL), who bad mouthed one of our closest allies, (Austrailia), claim he's gonna invade a nuclear armed current ally: Pakestan. Only a dim wit Lib/Dem lookin' fer the next disaster could be proud of that kinda talk.

Hard knowin' but we will not loose when the hand cuffs come off and we get down to the first total all out war in 62 years give or take. When the enemy trains their kids to be good little bombers n' hide in hostbitals n' the local Mosgue it tends to get people like me real hard even though I truly luv kids as most fathers do! The benign way via a stable Iraq or the hard way: WE WILL NOT LOOSE. My $.02 JR

"they feel now they have the numbers needed to make a real difference." Just think what we could do if we deployed overwhelming force. But alases we choose to wage war guided by our political system instead of by military might.:confused:

Another lesson from history. Vietnam was waged by the politicians' limits on war, not the generals who wanted to get the job done.

Re: Good news finally from the NY Times

Can you imagine a football game with the coach of the home team on the sidelines yelling in the plays like, "RUN OFF LEFT TACKLE ON THREE, RUN OFF TACKLE ON THREE!"

Then listen to the fans blame the quarterback for losing. The press blaming the quarterback for losing. The coach blaming the quarterback for losing. And forcing the team to say they don't know why they lost.

Liberals just don't get it. And if they do get it, they are traitors.

Even more funny is watching liberals even trying to SAY the word victory. They just can't do it.
