I live in Philadelphia, PA, and am wondering if anyone has suggestions for good places nearby to boat in an Intex Excursion 5.
I'm a little nervous about the idea of taking it on a river like the Schuylkill or the Delaware. Would that be safe? I have a Minn Kota 30 trolling motor.
Also, does anyone know what the law is regarding boating on a river like the Schuylkill River? Can I just put my boat in? Or do I have to get permission from someone? Not sure where I'd look to find out.
I don't necessarily plan to fish each time I go out, so it can just be a nice place to put the boat in and troll around for a few hours.
