Good quality used 19 foot boat - Brand?

Been about 10 years since I've had a boat, and I'm looking to get back into it. Anyway, I'm looking for a 18 or 19 foot boat with either a 4.3 or 5.0 engine. I'll probably buy something in the 12 -16k range. I'm most familiar with Crownline and Four Winns boats, because we have local dealers, but I'm also considering trying to find a Sea Ray based on feedback I've seen and some friends knowledge. What other brands should I consider and how new will I be able to get?

I know this is very broad, but I'm just starting my search now. Unless I find a great deal it could be at the end of the season when I purchase.

In a used boat brand becomes very unimportant. It's all about how it was maintained. I'd rather have an immaculate Bayliner than a beat Crownline. The powerplants are all the same.
