Sorry none involve boat though
1. Saw a guy driving the other day. He had one bare foot hanging out the driver's window.
2. Saw a 26' straight truck pull out of a gas station. He forgot to put the cap back on his fuel tank. Every stop, start and bump sloshed more diesel out. During quick turns, the diesel would shoot out. I did get next to the guy on the freeway honked and let him know. Luckily this was in Madison on the belltline so we were all stopped for a few seconds. He knew exactly why I was honking. He jumped out and put the cap back on.
3. During a snow storm, one of my friends stopped to help someone that had slid off a ramp on to the highway. While he was helping the one guy, another guy decided he would rocket down the same ramp pulling 4 snowmobiles. He hit the slick spot and the trailer whipped around and took out my friend. Luckily he survived. Lots of broken bones.
4. Was on the interstate early this year. It was one of those days where the humidity from the air freezes onto the pavment. Two vehicles in front of me, a woman was driving a brand new Crew Cab Ford truck. She hit the ice and immediately her truck did a 90 degree turn at 65 MPH into the Jersey barrier. I saw the whole truck (Huge truck) go totally airborne land and then do a 360. Still don't know how it did not roll. Almost, but not quite.
The battery had popped out of the engine compartment and was sitting on top of the radiator. The horn was going off until the fire dept cut the battery cable. The jersey barrier had a huge chunk broken out of it from the widest part to the top. The woman got out of the truck in total shock, but she was unhurt.
When the fire department had things in control and 911 unlocked my cell phone, I had to get back into traffic. No one would let me back into traffic. The fire Dept had to go out and stop another lane of traffic to get me back on the road.
