*1st let me apologize if anyone already seen this post in my other thread regarding tilt-trailer question, decided I would just make a new thread about the resto*

Just wanted to share a couple pics of my trailer, as I just got done restoring it.. fresh paint, all new lights, replaced the old bunks w/new treated lumber and new carpet, and added the spare tire mount as it didn't have one before... Pics aren't the greatest but I was in a hurry when I took them, plus they were for the DMV (stupid WV registration crap) so didn't care at the time how great they were lol...

Uhh... just ignore the banged up tail-gate... my truck doubles as a wood-hauling beast! lol

P.S., if anyone can tell me what type of trailer this is considered, bunk or roller-type, it'd be much appreciated! lol

Thank ya! I did this project in a matter of 3 days, working on it in the evenings after work from about 7-7:30pm - 1-2am... made for a VERY long week, but it was worth it! lol

Good looking job on the trailer countryboy. Got a question for you. You mentioned you had to deal with the WVDMV. Did you have to apply for a "homemade" trailer title? Reason I ask is I have an old boat trailer and I need to get a title for it.

Tom, thats exactly what i am going through.. its a PITA, not hard just a lot of paperwork and hoops to jump through.. three pages of papers, plus a 4th page that a police officer has to fill out stating he/she visually inspected the trailer and could not locate a VIN plate. Helps to be friends with a deputy for that part hehe.

That would be a keel roller trailer. A design that was used long before bunk or roller trailers and are still being make that way today.
