I finally got her out today!! Well, technically she was out last week without the gas motor, but I don't think that counts...does it?

Nice! Looks like that lil motor is purring along!
Your waaay ahead of me..I still need to just float mine off the trailor to make sure she does leak!

The funny thing is the rear transducer mount that was installed last week is the only thing that did leak! I'm supposed to be tweaking it prior to silicon though.

It worked very well though, I caught 2 bass over 2lbs and a channel cat that was over 5lbs! I caught the catfish by accident on a spinnerbait too - HA!!

sounds like a great way to spend a day...

I hear cats will typically hang out under the same structure as bass and will pounce on a bunh of bass lures...I'll be doing my first freshwater fishing ever next month..hafta tell my self not to drag the tuna feathers out on the lake! lol

Wow, that thing really got up and out of its own way that's for sure. I grew up running around in a beat up old tinny with a 4HP. Just last year my uncle (his boat) upgraded to a 9.9. I took it for a run and all I could think of was how awesome that have been when I was like 10. It was still pretty fun at 31.

You can say that again! I'm 30 myself and I still get a thrill every time I run her! The reservoir I was running on has a 10hp limit so I can honestly say I have one of the fastest boats out there! HA!

Also, I used the boat all day Saturday and Sunday and only burned 4 gallons of gas! I did almost kill the battery though...
