It's a 1985 SS 150 with a 70 horse Merc Thunderbolt. Just the right size for me, open bow, not to roomy.
Paid a grand for it, and it runs. Hull is a bit dinged up from when po had it in the water on the trailer when a storm came in and tossed it around. Back to back seats have rotten plywood, so I plan on replacing them, otherwise, not yet a candidate for restoration.
Will post some pictures some time.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who post here for the valuable information.

CONGRATS!!! Thats a cool boat, even better since its lake ready now!!! Thanks for the pics, I've been trying to come up with a paint color/strip configuration and I kinda like your stripes. Maybe a lil longer but, I'm thinking with a red/black/silver...

and looks like just a little soap and elbow grease it'll polish up great!

Nice find, looks like a great boat.

Trailer looks like it needs a little clean up. What's with the 2x4's under the keel?

Had to replace all the rollers, they were badly in need of replacing.

I'm gonna need to repair dents in hull and repaint her eventually.
Been looking for that stripe decal for awhile but can't find one. The Starcraft logo is available though.
Had her out on the water last weekend and it rides real nice. The engine is gonna need some work though, it does't seem to want to take to much throttle at a time, bogs down and stalls.

Great looking rig! Congrats!

Before the stripe gets any damage, you can probably take it to any wrap or vinyl vehicle lettering sign shop & get a price to recreate it. Once it's cut & rolled, keep it away from temp swings, particularly heat, and out of the UV & it could be mothballed until you start the resto & get the dents pulled & the hull painted... Not 24mo, but a 9-12mo or so, the sign company might give you more info. They may even pull the info to make them & keep the details until you're ready to have the vinyl cut....
