GOt my motor out BUT?????

got my 4.3L out today and tore off a few things. . (tore out cuz it has water in oil somewhere cant find where) so is there any way of me telling where the crack or leak is other than taking it all apart (remember, there is no physical signs of leaking or cracks) somewhere internally is the prob. . or is it best to just take the motor to a pro????

Would have been best to check while still in boat.You pressurize the system with a pump and you can hear where the leak is.Now that all hoses are disconnected this will not work so I would tear it down.Sounds like a head gasket to me.

pull the intake manifold off and most likely you will find some cracks in the lifter valley.. good luck.......

Did you have your risers and manfolds pressure tested? Water in the oil is usually the risers or manfolds.
