Got my new boat but have some questions

Got a 2002 Starcraft Aurora Deck Boat. Had to upgrade from an 18' bowrider since we always have a ton of people with us.

The boat is a big upgrade to me since it has a ton of features ...or headaches???Ha Ha!!

The boat also had a sink and I found the tank that holds the water. How do you actually drain it?

Anyway, I have posted some pics on some things I had questions about.


What are these holes for?? Located on both sides of the bow:

The look like drain holes at the back of the trans but are they?

Also, How the heck do you open this gas cap?

Sorry for all the question but the boat doesn't come nor can I find a manual for it.

Hi, the "Holes" in front are most likely drains for a cooler or fresh water. The gas cap needs a "Boat Key" to open it, they have a few different things that can come in handy, Th.e part your looking for has 2 prongs. Google Boat Key or Deck Key

The fresh water holding tank should have a petcock located on the end with a tube running from it. You will want fill and flush with a cap full of bleach Pryor to using it. You might want to fill and drain it again with no bleach the second time. Close petcock, fill and have fun! The other holes looks to be transom drain tubes. Are they above the water line?

The transom holes are those black ones. They have a flap in front of them.
