I had the cover done last year and ordered the bimini in the matching sunbrella color.Sweet looking you are going to love it. Like the boat cover also.
Thanks. I might have to replace the main mounts with stainless ones. Those plastic seem to have a lot of flex. I'll see how long they last. Haven't been able to take it out yet. Hopefully tomorrow. That looks great! Professional looking installation!
Whatever you do, don't ever tow it with the bimini attached to the boat as shown in your pics. If you want to do that, I suggest replacing the connections where it mounts to the boat with stainless ones. I lost a bimini that way when a plastic one cracked.
Edit: I see you were posting when i was!
That might get added to the winter project list. The main ones can be flat side mounts, but the rear have to be swivels because of the hull angles. Cheapest I can find is $30 delivered for those.I would replace all of the plastic connectors with stainless. The UV rays really play havoc on the plastic and you'll be replacing them in no time anyway.
Yeah, definitely need it with two small kids.Shade is one of the best upgrades for a boat in my opinion! I remember what it was like before I got my convertible top...MISERABLE for me on hot sunny days. Yours looks great.
looks like it is back a little too far tho. may be a little trouble when boarding from the back and doesnt give much shade when driving
nice color match! i love when people take the time to match it to the boat rather than just getting white!
