got some work done today on my glastron all be it not a whole bunch but it went suprisingly well. me and my buddy pulled off the carbs on my 1978 johnson 85 hp outboard thats attached to my 1977 glastron gt 150 and it went so well im sorta waiting on the other shoe to drop we also drained and replaced the lower unit gear oil thank god the oil was oil colored and not milky and did not have any metal flakes in it so im pretty stoked about it now i just have to rebuild the damn carbs and thats not anything ive done before but i have the kits the book and online schematics so im gonna give it a shot and try to do it myself on monday the mechanic wanted $200 to do it and worse case scenario i take it to him and admit defeat so its kinda win win for me we shall see... also took alot of pics.today and i just have to email them to myself so i can get them on here. once again my post is huge so ill try to get the pics up so yall can see the progress... ttyl
