Got this trailer...
i am wondering what that white plastic tube is for ..it looks like a wire inside and on the other end is a broken light.
Do i need this again?
i have new lights so will be wiring that up this weekend anyway.

also where would i stick the number plate? i figure right in the center of the bunks but the seadoo might block it.

Uh I have no earthly idea what the PVC was for, maybe a cheap wire chase up the frame for trailer lights or something, get rid of it. your bunks were too long and to far towards the rear of the trailer, over all the frame looks to be in great shape though, I would run your new trailer lights through the frame and put your license plate under the drivers side tail light.

Further you can probably afford to cut half the tongue off too, I bet it hauls nice and straight as long as it is, its probably in the running for the worlds longest single PWC trailer in the US!! LOL

it almost looks like the previous owner couldn't get the wiring through the frame, so they did the best redneck wiring they could, and ran it outside the frame via the pvc!

In either case, get yourself a LED wiring kit and rip out all the old crap in there.

Well i got a trailer light kit that came with the trailer...this is the one here

Yea i can see from the trailer tongue there is the connector harness and the wire goes into the trailer so i will feed it through like that ofcourse and do a proper job. i hate double work lol.

Note that if the trailer is wider than 80" (your boat model measures 76"), you must also have 3 lights spaced 6" to 12" apart on the back of the trailer. This is shown in MH Hawker's diagram above. Your light kit from Princess Auto doesn't include these lights. - Grandad

Hey Imraan, oops, I made the mistake of assuming the trailer was for your Glasstream, which measures 76". The spx measures only about 42", so I doubt if the trailer you've purchased exceeds 80". - Grandad

Btw, the spx hull is one of the smallest pwc hulls seadoo ever had. Great hull though on relatively smooth water, it is slow on rough water though, especially without an aftermarket intake grate. (can't keep the hull in the water enough to keep it hooked up)

Re: got this pwc trailer...ques

i have a dodge caravan and its so awkward pulling this trailer...i cant even see it on any mirrors. i guess once the seadoo is on there then i can see it.

ok so damn lights were a pain...its such a simple job but thing pissed me off. here is what happened and i need help.

ok so there were wiries running so i snaked one through and went ok...then did the other one and the damn wire snapped in the center. so now i got no wirre running to passager side and i have drilled a few holes to feed it through but no luck AT ALL! there are bends on the trailer frame that narrows down the space for the wire and i used a good piece of wire thats strong enough but also flexible and no luck at all.
so also how the hell do i get the wire in the center of the trailer out to put my side marker lights?? i have to be able to pull that wire and then make a just one connection from the side marker light to the brown wire thats inside the trailer frame. i tried drilling holes but i cant get to that brown wire at all!
HELP needed

only good news is that i got a good piece of wood for the bunks from home depot and i had carpet lying around so i got the bunks all done nice!

FIGURED IT OUT...tools make a huge difference in any job...i bought a fish tape and got that wire through like butter
