Gotta brag a little about my wife

My wife has a blog, called "The Gerber Babies Blog"

She also writes "Away we Go" A travel/vacation blog...

She does product reviews and "give aways", along with brilliant travel reviews. She has recently arranged, through several PR companies, and the City of Orlando, to have an incredible family vacation beginning with "The Kennedy Space Center", including having lunch with an astronaut!!! Our two sons are going to be thrilled!!! After 8-10 hours at The Space Center, we'll check in to one of three hotels my wife will be reviewing. The following day will be spent at "LegoLand" All kinds of fun stuff there!!! The naxt day will be a day at SeaWorld before checking in to the second hotel. The next day is unscheduled, so we'll either go to the beach on our own and/or get together with friends. The next day, we'll be checking in to Nickelodeon Suites for two nights!!! Talk about kid friendly!!! The hotel has an indoor water park and much more. The next day will be "Gator Land" My older son and I will go on a one hour guided "Zip-Line" Tour, while my wife shows our younger son some of the sights geared more toward small children. Every day will be a new suprise for our children!!! The last of our seven day adventure with be Disney World!!! I don't know who my 3 year old loves more, Mickey Mouse or Santa Clause!!!

Our children know nothing about this. We're going to send them to bed as usual... and then wake them up around midnight. We're only going to tell them to get ready for a trip. They'll have no clue. Their bags will have already been packed by my wife and I. The truck will be loaded and ready to roll when we wake them. We'll drive to Orlando and have breakfast enroute.

For the last month, or so, my wife has been making arrangements with various PR companies and representatives, to experience and write reviews about these attractions.

The adventure starts next week!!!

My wife told me this afternoon, that VIP tickets to "Blue Man" has been added to our itinerary. I've seen it a bunch of times at the Astor Place Theater in NYC, years ago. My family has never seen it; but I've raved about it to my wife plenty of times. I'd always told her that I'd take her and the kids... Now She's taking us!!! She even "1-upped" me with the VIP ticket to the lounge after the show for a meeting and "Photo-ops" with the group!!! My wife was informed that, although, they don't talk... They will talk to us during a private sit-down. That, I never had.

Isn't life... I mean, my wife... Well... Both... AWESOME!!!???

Sonofagun...you are living a charmed life, my friend! But also, you guys deserve it. I hope VH Jr. and SamIAm have a great time.

You are going to be 30 minutes away from us. If you think for a minute that you guys are going to be this close and not get together with us, you're sadly mistaken!! Give us a shout on any free time you have and we'll run out and meet up with you. Can't wait to see you guys again!

Love the fact that the kids know nothing.
Did that with my son when he was 5 and we went to Disneyworld / Fort Myers for 2 weeks.

Nlain, you always make me smile... You can count on posted pics this time. Last time I tried to post pics with only partial success, I learned ("with a little help from my friends") that I need to set the camera to a lower resolution, until I learn how to alter higher resolution photos with the computer. Although, I am just a dumb kid from Brooklyn... "I'm smarter than the average bear!!!"

So, aspeck... any chance of your getting to the get together at Fireman's place on June 9th?

I'd love for some iboats members to win some cool stuff. My wife uses a random draw program which picks the winners. Sometimes there are high numbers of entries, and sometimes not. Even with the really fantastic giveaways, sometimes the odds of winning are amazingly good. I guess sometimes people don't enter because they think they'll never win; and maybe people think that it's just a scam to get their email to be spammed later. Please be assured, my wife never shares email addresses with anyone. Sometimes, the company or craftsman/craftperson furnishing the item/items being awarded may require contact with the winner, such as when the item is either custom made to order, or simply customized for the winner. When this is the case, it is clearly disclosed in the giveaway description. Again, please be assured, you'll never be spammed as a result of entering a giveaway on my wife's blogs.
