Does anyone have any experience using the GPS 18. You can hook it up to a laptop, so I figured this might be a nice option with the large screen and all that i have on my laptop. would this be any different than having a Chart Plotter? Anyone have any suggestions on powering my laptop on the boat? Can I wire something into my cigarrette lighter maybe? Any suggestions would be helpfull. I am really new to this..
