GPS Tracker Alarm has any one used one ??

Guys,

I'm looking for some sort of alarm for my 42' Supercraft on a swing mooring (bilge etc - there's a video camera already covering the mooring area). I'm looking at the GPS Tracker type that use the text messaging. Has anyone got one, what are the pro's and con's ?? The boat is nearly always within mobile network coverage.

I've found one at http://www.smart-azz.com - that seems to tick the boxes I want. Has anyone got one of these ??

I have a Garmin 5212 and a 5208. The alarm features work great. Drift while at anchor is very effective. The penetration alarm that lets you know when and other boat has come within you pre-designated safety zone is my favorite bells and whistles.

Well I went ahead and bought one, got it 2 weeks ago. Seems to do the job. Had to leave it for about 15 mins to acquire satellites after it was charged. I've attached a float switch as suggested. So far I haven't heard from it, but I guess that's a good thing. Anyone else got these ?
