GPS trim tab indicator display?

I have a Garmin GPS 430 and i recently read that Bennett sells a NMEA compatible trim tab indicator that will show on the GPS display? Does anyone know if my Garmin is compatible? I currently have trim tabs and NO indicator. Do i need the indicator as well as the NEMA devices? Are there special adapters for Garmin?

You need the trim display upgrade from Bennett. The kit includes position sensors that you install in the cylinders to feed back the position.

Personally, I?d just replace the existing control with the indicator controls and forget about displaying it on the screen. The screen on your unit is small enough. No need to add additional clutter when you can get a visual indication elsewhere.

thanks for the input, i had concerns that it would clutter up the map.
