Grady White still needs transom repairs

Well, its been about a year and my boat still needs a transom repair. It's sat for a year and I don't feel comfortable doing the repairs myself because I think a 9 foot wide transom is more than I should tackle without any experience.

I have contacted several fiberglass shops here in Houston, and Hill's Fiberglass Boat Works have called me several times letting me know that they have an empty stall and could start on my boat immediately. I can't find any feedback online from anyone that has had work done with them.

Has anyone here heard of them, or had repairs made by this company. All comments appreciated.

Thanks!!

Why don't you call them and ask if they can provide a few references. I know I wouldn't be offended at all if somebody called me to ask me about the guy who I had working on my boat last year. He did a nice job for me and I wouldn't mind telling others. Surely he's got customers like that too if he's any good.

Another source that might be helpful is to attend the next meeting of your Coast Guard Auxiliary or Power Squadron and ask there. I needed somebody to fabricate a rail for me and was clueless where to go until I got a tip at a CGA meeting. Three different individuals all agreed this one place was where to go... and they were right.
