Here's a neat video I put together.....5 inshore saltwater species taken in one trip, on various tackle, including a fly rod:

One of those rare days indeed! I can't pull this trick every time I go fishing, but I guess that's why they call it 'fishing' and not 'catching' :D

Nice. I wish I was better fishing with lures in salt water. Need to find someone who really knows what they're doing to head out with me.

Well, if you ever plan on coming to the SC coast, give me a holler. We'll see what we can do. I can often catch as many, if not more, fish with lures, than I can with live bait.

Re: Grand Slam!

Sounds good. I have hard enough time getting fresh water fish to bite lures, let alone salt water fish. Still 0-4 trolling.

Great video. My next fishing trip will be on the SC coast near Murrels Inlet.

Re: Grand Slam!

Whats with the machete??
Try putting some ice in your cooler next time,It kills the fish quick and keeps them fresh.
Good luck.

LMAO!! No, that's not what the machete is for. The machete is used to scrape barnacles and mussels off the pilings and rocks, into a bucket. This is what is used for chum, for sheepshead.
