Grease and sealant question on out drive

What is a good replacement for the Volvo Penta Grease P/N 82820 and Volvo Penta Gasket Sealing Compound P/N 1161099? I've read that perfect seal #4 and Permatex #2 is good for the sealing compound. Need this for my SX outdrive. Thanks Mark

Perfect Seal will work for the gasket sealer
The grease, depends on what it's used for.
We use Mercruiser grease on all drives.
Splines for couplers get spline grease, gimbal bearins and ujoints get ujoint and gimbal bearing grease, about everything else get 2-4-C

Thanks Don for the help. There are numerous places for the Volvo Penta Grease on the outdrive in the manual, so hopefully the 2-4-c will work. Thanks
