Great Lakes Cruising Club

I am wondering if there are any members here that are also members of the Great Lakes Cruising Club. I recently resigned from the club I belonged to and are looking at my options for joining another boating club or organization.

GLCC hits many of the buttons that work for me. Just wondering if any here also belong to GLCC. Would like to hear the positives and/or negatives from that membership.

The little that I know of this club is that they had exclusive " local " information on the North Channel.----Such things as where the rock are or aren't in places that did not have good published charts----That was before electronic charts I believe.-----Best blueberry patches etc, etc.-----Not sure how active this group is today.-----In my hometown transient cruising traffic has declined , just like the population of the Detroit area.
