Yeah I went there Summer of 04...<br /><br />I was lucky, that year it was high water; if you get a year with low water you'll have to watch out for obstacles more (it's a manmade lake). If you're used to the Adirondacks than you might be a little dissappointed, its kinda flat there. But there is a cool public island in the "big" part of the lake called "sand island"...Ask any local he/she'll know. Good general picnic area and destination. It was a cool lake, the part up near the dam is the most interresting. I do prefer my 'daks and 1000 islands tho...
