You all have heard of or used "Great Stuff foam" right?

It comes on a can and its used for sealing up stuff.

I got it on my right hand, as soon as I for it on my hand I took a rag and wiped it off. When I got into the light again I saw that where it was on my hand is black, looks like I have dirt on my hand, that was yestersday, and after washing it many times, it won't come off.

Any suggestions?

Ya, it will come off in about a week when your hand grows new skin! :p

Thats what they make latex gloves for, among other things! :D

Is this the foam you use to insulate your home? If so it is nasty stuff. Have to wait for it to dry before cutting or working with it. When I install windows I use fiberglass instead of that stuff. I have had it expand to a point where the windows will bind.

Flashback - they (Dow) actually reccomends you use acetone for the uncured stuff.
Once it's cured, it's like any other urethane: undissolvable.
I'll bet paint stripper would work though.

Heres a messy solution but it works. Take the gloves that you were supposed to wear BEFORE you used the foam, slather your better halfs really good hand cream on your hands, put the gloves on over the hand cream. Work away on your project and try and ingnore the fact that your hands feel yucky. It worked for me. :)
